  • Getting Ready for Your Virtual Visit
  • For a successful and confidential telehealth experience, please follow the steps below.
    1. Technical Setup
      • Device: Use a smartphone, tablet, or computer equipped with a webcam and microphone.
      • Platform: If needed, download the free Zoom or Google Meet app on your device. You may also use your browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari, as long as it is updated.
      • Test: Test your camera and microphone before your scheduled appointment time to ensure everything is functioning properly.
      • Power and Wi-Fi: Make sure your device is fully charged or plugged in and connected to a strong, private internet connection. Avoid using public Wi-Fi for telehealth visits.
    2. Day of the Appointment
      • Location: Choose a quiet, private, and well-lit space where you will not be interrupted during your appointment.
      • Check Email: Five to ten minutes before your scheduled time, open the email containing your meeting link and click the Zoom or Google Meet link.
      • Waiting Room: You may be placed into a virtual waiting room upon joining. Your provider will admit you once they are ready. Please be patient, as appointments may occasionally run a few minutes behind.

  • Important Note on Privacy
  • We work to maintain your privacy throughout all virtual visits. Please be aware that Zoom and Google Meet are standard communication platforms used to support accessible telehealth services. By joining your appointment, you acknowledge and consent to the use of these non-dedicated telemedicine systems.
